The General Contractors Association (GCA) of Hawaii hosted the 16th Annual Build Hawaii Awards Banquet on April 27, 2019, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Build Hawaii Awards showcases and honors the state’s best construction projects. GBI’s Hawai‘i regions were proud to have five projects (all of which completed in 2018) recognized in various categories. One of the five, the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway Widening Phase 2 project, received the coveted “Award of Excellence” (first place).
