Leaders at Stanford University envisioned a space to accommodate the latest advances in medical technology, ensure optimal capacity for patient care, and meet new seismic safety requirements.
Solution
GBI was responsible for multiple phases of various projects throughout the campus, including the mass excavation and off haul more than 200,000 cubic yards of dirt and material to allow for the construction of a parking structure at Stanford University hospital. We also all provided all site grading and paving for the project.

This beautiful 824,000-square-foot medical facility is now open and includes spacious operating suite, a helipad, breathtaking works of art, rooftop gardens, and 368 private, technology-rich patient rooms.
