Situation
Persimmon Place is a 152,500 square foot shopping center in Dublin. The $55 million center, off the Hacienda Drive exit of Interstate 580, brings more retail to the eastern side of Dublin within walking distance to about 1,000 apartments adjacent to a BART station.
Solution
GBI performed mass grading, fine grading AB and placement of AC pavement. Additionally, we managed several subcontractors for underground (wet), joint trench, concrete, striping, and survey. The project was delivered on schedule.
Notable
Existing improvements, businesses, a central transit system, and a very active arterial street through Dublin surrounded the site. GBI was able to successfully work with the local municipalities to minimize all traffic/pedestrian congestion throughout the course of construction.
