Situation
Jordan Ranch is a residential community in East Dublin off Fallon Road next to Positano, with 780 housing units. The development includes 457 detached homes, 323 condos & townhouses, a school, and parks.
Solution
GBI handled all logistics and managed 12 subcontractors for the project. We performed over a million cubic yards of earthwork, utilized 50,000 tons of aggregate and laid 15,000 tons of asphaltic concrete.
Notable
Development of Jordan Ranch was one of the first major projects in the state after the Great Recession of 2008. Heavy permitting restriction delayed the initial start of the project for six months. Because of the delay, GBI added staff, working 12 hours a day, seven days a week, effectively doing a year’s worth of work in three months, completing the Jordan Ranch project on the day promised.
