GBI Ohana and Partners,
For more than 50 years, Goodfellow Bros. has had the privilege to call the island of Maui our home. It's a place we hold dear, a place that has embraced us with open arms, where generations of families have contributed to our company and the community to proudly build the essential infrastructure that supports our daily lives. The roots we've cultivated here run deep, making the recent events all the more profound.
As a united family, across our entire organization, we stand in solidarity to offer our deepest condolences to those who have suffered unimaginable losses in the Maui wildfires.
Recognizing the immediate and lasting needs of those affected, GBI has committed funds to the Hawaii Community Foundation as well as the United Way of Maui. This support will help address critical requirements such as shelter, sustenance, and financial assistance for residents. We are actively exploring additional ways to contribute, and we will share these plans in the days and weeks ahead.
GBI's commitment to the welfare of the communities we serve is deeply ingrained in our culture. In moments of crisis, this commitment becomes more than a mission - it defines who we are. Our crews have acted with courage, resilience, and compassion working alongside first responders to contain the fires and aid in recovery efforts. We are grateful for their contributions, as they continue to work tirelessly in the community to lend their support.

We encourage everyone to follow local advisories, stay safe, and look out for one another during this most trying time.
